Here a pack of bikers start going into one of the four turns in each lap of the race. My shutter speed was set at 1/1000th of a second for this shot. I think I would have preferred to have it around 1/250th of a second to blur the bike wheels and imply fast motion.
I tool many shots of the bikers from many different angles and at many points along the race. Shots take as the bikers were on the straights were in general not as interesting as shots where you see the bikers leaning to go around corners. This was not clear to me until after I got home and started looking at the images. Even though digital cameras have LCD screens to view your images after you take them, the screens are small and you do not get the full picture (pardon the pun) until you look at the images on a computer monitor.
