Abstract Photography can be fun because it can be so... abstract. In the case of the photo below you may realize when you first view the image that it is a parking garage, but I bet is is not a parking garage photograph in a way you have seen it before.

Sometimes zooming in and capturing only part of a subject can give us an abstract look. One of the most powerful compositional elements you have at your disposal as a photographer is what you purposely chose to position OUTSIDE of the frame.
