Worlds Largest "M"

August 4, 2009 I know it's not a real "pretty" picture but I thought the world's largest "M" deserved it's place on my blog.  The "M" is 241 feet high and 214 feet wide and was begun in 1937 by the Students fo the Wisconsin Mining School.  It is now the Symbol of the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin at Platteville.  It is big, notice the size of the people in the photograph.
