Roann Covered Bridge

Photographing covered bridges is a fun thing to do.  I find it best to wait until near sunset to take the photos as that way the surroundings of the bridge contain detail and are not blown out.  Inside the bridge it is pretty dark compared to the outside.  I had to use a tripod for this shot with a shutter speed of 2 seconds!   This is the Roann covered bridge in Roann, Indiana.  It was build in 1877.
