Holiday Shooting Tip

December 11, 2010 in architecture, Blue Hour, Christmas

If you want to take a photo of a house with Christmas lights do it at dusk. By shooting before it gets to dark you will be able to capture the details of the hose along with the colors of the lights. If you wait until dark, much of the house will be dark and the lights will be blown out. This is because our eyes can see much more detail than a camera can see.
