Biking

This is my last shot of the 2010 Madison Ironman competition. I did not get any shots of the runners. In this biking image I slowed my shutter speed down to 1/125 by closing down my aperture to F11. I panned to take this shot, following the biker with my lens as he went by. this give a slight blue to the background and the wheels of the bike but keeps the biker and his bike in sharp focus. Try taking a few panning shot of runners, bikers or even cars. You need a slower shutter speed but the blur induced in the photo gives it a look that implies motion.
