Lynx is a replica of the 1812 War schooner that was commissioned during the opening days of war to fight along side some of the best and first ships to defend our freedom. The original ship was a blockade-runner and an important weapon during this war. The replica, Lynx, serves as a floating museum for all those who cherish the American values. The Lynx crew members wear traditional uniforms from the war and carry the traditional values of the 19th century sail crew. This ship not only serves as a museum but as a sail training vessel as well as takes the opportunities to visit Hawaii whenever possible.
