This is an HDR image. I combined 3 exposures taken at 0EV, +2EV, and -2Ev. Note that you can see lots of detail where in each of the individual photos detail was missing (the darks were black or the highlights were pure white). I really pushed this one over the top but I liked the edgy look of it. I combined the images in Photoshop CS5.
