Taken at the Monona Terrace rooftop. I had to get down low and tilt the camera to get the pole angled toward the upper left corner of the frame. I like the lines in this photo both of the pole, the parallel lines in the object behind the lit dome, and the perpendicular lines of the metal railing.
This image was taken on a tripod with a 0.7 second exposure. The longer you are out shooting during the blue hour, the longer your exposures will get. Here, I underexposed the image some which makes the sky look a beautiful shade of blue. It also keeps detail in some of the lights.
