Nothing real dramatic happened this night but I thought this was a good example of what you want to do in a landscape shot. Put something in the foreground, the middle ground and the background. In this case I have all three and the winding stream in the middle ground is a bonus because curves like this look great on photos.
Next time you see a winding stream or river, photograph it and you will see what I mean.
